- Charles ALEXANDER - He was born between 1748 and 1751 in Antigua. He married Elizabeth, date and location unknown (could have been St. Vincent). By 1794, Charles ALEXANDER is found on a land grants list, but no further information is yet known. At least two of his children were: Susanna Lydia ALEXANDER and Harry Charles C. ALEXANDER, both of whom died in infancy and are buried in St. Vincent.
- Jane ALEXANDER - She was born June 13, 1752 in St. John's, Antigua. She was married in St. Vincent on August 6, 1774 to Herbert Palmer COX. She died after 1792. Her children were: Lydia Prisca (twin with Margaret Jane) COX, Margaret Jane (twin with Lydia Prisca) COX, John George COX, Herbert Palmer COX, Harry Palmer COX, Francis James COX, Anne Elizabeth COX, Paul Greathead COX, and Douglas Leith COX.
- Anne Charlotte ALEXANDER - She was born after 1753 in Antigua. She married twice in St. Vincent, first to Dr. James FALSIDE (who died in St. Vincent in 1780), and second to Andrew ROSS. She was buried on January 16, 1792 in St. Vincent. Her children were Margaret Ann FALSIDE, Elizabeth Jane ROSS, John Herbert ROSS, Ann ROSS, Henry James ROSS, and Georgiana Pauline ROSS.
- Lydia ALEXANDER - She was born about 1756 in Antigua. She married twice in St. Vincent, first on January 30, 1772 to Thomas HACKSHAW (who died in 1782), and second to Alexander Burrows IRWIN. She died March 16, 1836 in England and was buried in the churchyard of St. Dunstan's-in-the-West, Fleet Street, London. Her children were: Lydia HACKSHAW, Harry HACKSHAW, George & Thomas HACKSHAW (twins), Henry Bury IRWIN, Charlotte Martha IRWIN and Harriet Frances IRWIN.
- Elizabeth ALEXANDER - She was born after 1753 in Antigua. She married Alexander ANDERSON, the Superintendent of the St Vincent Botanic Garden, on June 8, 1789 in St. Vincent. She had at least one daughter, Elizabeth/Eliza ANDERSON.
- Harry ALEXANDER, Jr. - He was born after 1753 in Antigua. He was in British West Florida with his father in 1781, and might have gone to Jamaica shortly thereafter. No further information.

Hello, I'm interested in your blog, especially about Lydia Alexander who married Thomas Hackshaw - I am a descendant of that couple. Do you have anymore information about Lydia and the Alexander family.

Hmm, any joy with that Joanna , my 4x grandmother was Jane Alexander( b.1753) sister of Lydia Alexander , my 4x grandaunt , don't forget me when your divvy up the cash (lol) , no but seriously looks like you did your research , this is not a branch of my tree that i have really looked at (so many branches , so little time) , but good luck with your endeavour...
